Accessibility
Montessori Compass is committed to making our website and software usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies.
This website
Our marketing website at montessoricompass.com is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab), Level AA. Accessibility checks are part of how we build and update the site, and we work to keep every page measuring up to that standard.
Classroom Sites
Accessibility is built into the Classroom Sites design system from the beginning. Pages are automatically checked for common WCAG 2.2 AA issues, and each site receives a manual keyboard and structural review before launch. Accessible structure, usable color contrast, keyboard navigation, and other accessibility-conscious patterns are part of the underlying system rather than an overlay added afterward.
Accessibility is an ongoing practice. Website content, third-party integrations, and future changes can affect accessibility, so we do not guarantee perfect or universal conformance. We continue to monitor, test, and improve our approach, and we encourage schools and website visitors to tell us when they encounter a barrier.
Our software
We are working to extend the same standard of accessibility across all of our tools, including the Montessori Compass platform and the Classroom Share parent app. This is an ongoing effort, and not every part of our software has reached that bar yet. We’re committed to continuing to improve.
